David Tunnicliffe

Principal Broker & Founder

David is a commercial real estate broker with almost 15 years of experience representing owners, investors, developers, and tenants across Virginia and North Carolina. He began his career in 2011 with Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer, building a strong foundation in institutional brokerage, leasing, and investment sales.

He has worked on office, retail, industrial, and land transactions, representing national, regional, and local clients in site selection, leasing, acquisitions, and dispositions. Today he leads AFO Commercial Real Estate, founded to combine institutional-level expertise with the flexibility of a boutique firm.

Alex Fanjul

Commercial Advisor

Alex is a commercial real estate professional and longtime business owner with over 20 years of experience leading complex projects in residential construction, operations, and industrial environments. He built and ran an operations and consulting firm, turning ideas into executable plans with owners, contractors, and vendors.

He has managed projects and site assessments across the U.S. and internationally, including Latin America, the Caribbean, and Africa. He helps clients think beyond square footage to how a space will function, grow, and support their goals.
